How a Taiwan mail label runs
- 01ZIP
- 02City
- 03District
- 04Road · Section
- 05Lane · Alley · No.
SECTIONS · LANES · ALLEYS
Every profile this generator assembles reads the way a Taiwan mail label runs: ZIP code first, then the city, the district, the road with its section number, and the lane-and-alley digits narrowing to one door. Addresses here run largest-to-smallest, like Japan's, and street segments carry numbers of their own — Section 2 of a road is a different place than Section 4. Each card pairs the address with a Taiwanese name in romanized form, a 09xx mobile and an email.
All 22 counties and cities, deep pools for the big ones
The filter covers all 22 counties and cities. Taipei, New Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung carry deep city pools for heavy testing; every other region holds its capital with a zone-correct postal code in the dropdown.
Taipei City
Da'an and Xinyi districts: Dunhua South Road, Zhongxiao East Road, Songshou Road. ZIPs open with 106 and 110.
New Taipei City
Banqiao and Xinzhuang: Zhongshan Road, Zhongzheng Road. ZIPs in the 220s and 240s.
Taichung City
Xitun District: Taiwan Boulevard. ZIPs in the 400s.
Kaohsiung City
Lingya District: Zhongshan 2nd Road. ZIPs in the 800s.
Every card shows its city and ZIP, so a Banqiao address never gets mistaken for a Da'an one.
How a Taiwan address is laid out
Taiwanese addresses run largest-to-smallest — the postal code leads, the door number trails — the reverse of a Western layout:
Three things trip people up. Roads carry section numbers — Dunhua South Road Section 2 is a different stretch than Section 4, and the section belongs in the address. The door is found through the lane-and-alley chain, not a straight street number. And in romanized form the order flips for Western forms: door, road, district, city — with the ZIP on the last line or the first, depending on the form.
The 3+3 structure explained below comes from Chunghwa Post's own addressing Q&A — the same standard its sorters follow.
Need a whole list? Export it
One address at a time does not seed a test database. Save the profiles you like, then export the whole set as CSV or JSON in one click. Every field comes along — name, road and section, lane and alley, district, city, ZIP, phone and email — so nothing needs re-formatting downstream. No cap, no signup, no watermark.

ZIP codes, decoded: 3 digits now, 3+3 underneath
Chunghwa Post's own Q&A answers the question every form-builder asks — "should the zip code be 3 or 6 digits?" — by explaining that the current system is a 3+3 digit code. The first 3 digits represent the administrative district: the city, township, town or district. The last 3 digits represent delivery sections — including special delivery numbers for bulk mail recipients and the delivery-section serial numbers of ordinary households.
That is why you'll see both lengths in the wild. A 3-digit code like 106 pins the administrative district — Da'an, Taipei. The full 3+3 narrows further to a delivery section. Our generator produces the 3-digit district segment, which passes the common form validation; if a system demands the full 6 digits, Chunghwa Post's lookup tool supplies the delivery section for a real address — and the official Q&A notes the 3+3 exists for mail sorting, "do not use it as a basis for other purposes." Honest boundary: our 3-digit codes pair with the right district; the delivery-section half is where synthetic data stops and the official lookup begins.

Use cases for test addresses
Form and QA testing — fill Taiwan checkout flows with district-valid, 3-digit-ZIP profiles that pass field validation.
Localization reference — compare the largest-to-small order and the section-number system against Western forms before wiring address fields.
Teaching and demos — show how lane, alley and door numbers chain to one address without a street number anywhere.
What these samples are — and aren't
Built for: software testing, format reference, localization QA, placeholder data.
Not for: real correspondence, identity verification, or registering for services against their terms. Generated profiles are synthetic; a correct 3-digit ZIP is not proof the address exists. For actual mail, confirm the address with the recipient or Chunghwa Post's own tools.
How the samples are built: districts, ZIP prefixes and line order follow Chunghwa Post's addressing Q&A. Data pools last reviewed September 2026.
