6 DIGITS · NOT +234
Every profile this generator assembles reads the way a Nigerian delivery rider would navigate it: recipient first, then the street and area, the city, the state — and a six-digit postal code anchoring the last line. Nigerian addressing leans on areas and landmarks as much as street numbers, which is why the area line carries real weight. Each card pairs the address with a Nigerian name, a 080x mobile number and an email. Generate a set, filter by state, export what you need.
All 37 states (36 plus the FCT), deep pools for the big ones
The filter covers all 37 states (36 plus the FCT). Lagos, Abuja FCT and Rivers carry deep city pools for heavy testing; every other region holds its capital with a zone-correct postal code in the dropdown.
Lagos State
Lagos Island, Ikeja and Lekki pools: Marina, Allen Avenue, Admiralty Way. Codes in the 100001-106104 range, including Ikeja's 100001.
Abuja FCT
Central Area, Wuse II, Garki. Code 900001 — Garki's main head-office code, straight from the official list.
Rivers State
Port Harcourt, GRA Phase 2. Code 500001, the Port Harcourt head-office code.
Every card shows its city and postal code, so an Ikeja address never gets mistaken for a Wuse II one.
How a Nigerian address is laid out
Nigerian addresses run specific-to-general like a British one, with one local habit: areas do the work street numbers do elsewhere:
Three things trip people up. The area-and-town line matters more than the street — Opebi, Ikeja narrows a delivery faster than a house number, because much of Nigeria navigates by area and landmark. The state line is written in full, never a two-letter code. And the postal code is six digits — which leads to the most-searched question of all, whether +234 is a postal code. It is not. That is the phone country code; the postal kind is pure digits.
The structure below follows the documented NIPOST system — nine regions, dispatch districts, delivery locations.
Need a whole list? Export it
One address at a time does not seed a test database. Save the profiles you like, then export the whole set as CSV or JSON in one click. Every field comes along — name, street, area, town, state, postal code, phone and email — so nothing needs re-formatting downstream. No cap, no signup, no watermark.

Postal codes, decoded: six digits, three jobs
A Nigerian postal code is six digits doing three jobs. The first digit names one of nine postal regions — the map NIPOST, the Nigerian Postal Service, divides the country into. The second and third digits, combined with the first, form the dispatch district for outgoing sorting. The last three digits represent the delivery location, which can be a post office facility, a rural area, or an urban area.
The head-office pattern proves the structure. Each region's main postal head office takes a code ending in 0001: Garki Main HO in Abuja is 900001, Ikeja HO in Lagos is 100001, Port Harcourt is 500001. Those three codes sit in our data pools as-is — when a generated card shows 900001 for Abuja, it is quoting the real Garki head-office code, not inventing one. The full national range runs from 100001 up to 982002. That is also why six digits is the right answer to the format question — and why +234 belongs in the phone field, never the code field.

Use cases for test addresses
Fintech and QA testing — fill Nigerian checkout and KYC flows with state-valid, 6-digit-code profiles that pass field validation.
Localization reference — compare area-led addressing against street-number forms before wiring address fields.
Teaching and demos — show how region, dispatch district and delivery location stack inside six digits.
What these samples are — and aren't
Built for: software testing, format reference, fintech QA, placeholder data.
Not for: real correspondence, identity verification, or registering for services against their terms. Generated profiles are synthetic; head-office codes like 900001 are real codes in real places, but the profiles wearing them are fictional. For actual mail, confirm the address with the recipient or NIPOST's own tools.
How the samples are built: states, code ranges and head-office codes follow the documented NIPOST structure. Data pools last reviewed September 2026.
